They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

I've worked it out. We are desperate to unleash our four quicks while the pitch still has some juice in it.

I'm expecting Ponting to declare sometime in the next 15 minutes.

The selectors in their wisdom did nothing to rectify why we lost the last test.... The pitch was an effing road yet we were 3-2 after 10min and at that point the game was gone. FF to the next test we replace an injured opener with an out of form kid and leave 3 & 4 the same.... 50 minutes into this game we are as good as cooked again.

He was lucky not to be caught at gully before that after a wafty flash outside off.

If you hunt around you should be able to find a live stream of the game somewhere.

Disgusting batting on a pitch that's doing a bit. How about doing some hard stuff when your team needs you rather than taking the easy way out...

If he is the annoited one to take over from Ponting we are in for years of pain. We need a hard arse at the helm to lead from the front and Clarke's waxed up version isn't the answer.

The cynic in me thinks Ponting in his "unofficial chairman of selectors" position has orchestrated it that way. Make yourself irreplaceable by having no better options available.

When we lose this test he should announce his retirement effective the end of the series, of course he won't, he will have to be removed kicking and screaming.

So be it, we have to start again rebuilding.

It's going to be a struggle to get through the overs with 4 pacemen and Watson. Smith might actually get a lot of bowling.

And that is a worry because Smith could conceivably concede 4 to 4.5 an over.

He will have to as who else can bowl? Clarke won't risk his back you wouldn't think.

How horrible were those first three wickets.
