    Re: 2012-13 EPL Thread

This round in EPL Man Utd play Norwich away from home hoping to get another win and extend our lead at the top of the table. We haven't been the best defensively so far this season but we are able to score a lot of goals which has put us in the position we are in right now. The Hernandez hat trick last weekend against Aston Villa was a prime example of this.

A shock against Norwich as we lose 1-0. Well done to Norwich. That means our neighbouring rivals Man City go top of the table for the first time this season I believe after a comfortable win against struggling Aston Villa.

Man Utd play QPR tonight and it should be a pretty comfortable win for us against a team that hasn't won a match this season at home. Hopefully we can keep a clean sheet this weekend as well because our defence hasn't been the greatest lately.

I doubt it will be that comfortable now after what happen the other day.

Wrong choice of words I think we should win against QPR but going on our form at the moment we could draw with them. How do you reckon chef Chelsea will go now under Rafa Benitez.

QPR should be pretty fired up after the events of this week.

I actually think we will perform better, I wasn't a huge RDM fan as a manager but appreciated who he was(a Chelsea legend) and what he was able to do in the dressing room last year. But until we find a decent striker(which Torres isn't anymore sadly) we will still be a bit off the pace.

Very good win and we get back on the winner list. We go back on top for now because Chelsea and Man City play tonight. Hopefully It's a draw between Chelsea and Man City or a Chelsea win which will keep us on top of the table.

Poor game and with a manager nobody wants.
United were poor ( didn't see it) and the result flattered.
Good point for a bottom half team to get a point at Swansea.

I didn't watch the United game either Remi but its a positive that we responded from being behind again and only conceded 1 goal and scored 3. We still have a very strong attacking side but our quality across the rest of the field isn't as strong as it once was.

Nice effort by Rafa first up, seems to have organised our defence very quickly. Bit of an arm wrestle in the rain but a very enjoyable game to watch. First clean sheet in 10 games which is nice.

Wigan stole the points on the weekend. Very fortunate to get 3 of them

How does WBA stay so competitive? They seem to beat the odds most seasons.

Chef can you please explain why Chelsea fans don't like Rafa? Not a follower of the EPL, but i am intrigued nevertheless.

The majority do because he hated or portrayed he hated Chelsea while manager of Liverpool and had a lot of bad things to say about our fans, history and players.
