Watched the game on delay and logged into WOOF during it. When I saw your name as last post, I was think disaster for some reason haha!

Hopefully starting front line of Ox-Theo-Podolski with Giroud coming on as a CF later in game is OK by Theo. Desperate to keep him!

            Re: 2012-13 EPL Thread

I stayed up to watch my Man Utd against West Brom as you may have noticed from my early morning posts. We dominated the first half and could of lead by more than 1 goal. The second half West Brom really came at us and could of equalised but we held firm and Van Persie with a late goal again for us wrapped it up.

Arsene has been playing a 4-4-2 formation forn the better part of a season now. I'd like to see us play more of a 4-3-3 with those three at the front for an extended period to see if it works better but I'd be loathe to make wholesale changes just for Theo's benefit.

If he wants to go then as far as I am concerned he can go. He aint Cesce and he aint RVP and I dont want to see us getting into a tizz over him the way we got over those them. He can go into the Samir Nasri basket.

Think Albion would be aggrieved for the two goals Arsenal got .
Think Wigan would feel aggrieved last week as well.
We've got fergie time and I didn't see it Wenger time.

Good first half and should have been 2 nil up at half time.

Soon as RVP came on United looked dangerous. Thought Utd defended well lots of blocks, and on a sticky muddy pitch

With him running down his contract to 6 months I think he's gone. Arsene will sell in January rather than lose him for nothing more than compo at the end of the season. Strange decision for Theo to do this as the money elsewhere won't be much better and he'll get more opportunities up front where he is.

I think that Theo is being very badly advised by a manager (his personal manager, not Arsene) who is looking to short term gain and has sold his client a fairy story about what wil happen elsewhere. I think he will go to Liverpool-he's been saying for six months or so that he has "always been a Liverpool supporter"

Why wont he get better opportunities elsewhere? He has long said that he is a striker and until 3 weeks ago was never played there by Wenger.

Personally I think he is vastly overrated but if he goes someone like Liverpool he would be starting every match which would give his chances for England selection a massive boost.

I was very happy with our defending particularly in those muddy conditions. We have Wigan away next which should be another win. We are in a very good position and the only way will lose top spot is if we let ourselves down.

If he ends up at Liverpool(which seems to be the talk) then he's going to be behind Suarez and Sturridge(who also looks like ending up there and also wants to be a CF but doesn't seem to have the tools). Do Liverpool play with 2 up the top?

I agree he's overrated because of who he plays for and where he was born.

How do you think Walcott is overrated. Is it his consistency?
