    That's it?

Perhaps under Fergie, he would've got rid of him for that alone - in my mind, that's not sufficient to move someone on. From all accounts, he's a model teammate, and on available evidence, probably the hardest working guy in the squad.

To clarify, Suarez did apologise for the no handshake - still hasn't for the abuse...interestingly enough, the tribunal finding stressed that they DON'T believe him to be racist...but then didn't accept his SA cultural version of events.....pretty confusing. I just wish he'd apologised for offending Evra - while not intending to, he clearly did - you're not conceding you're a racist by doing that.

For crying out loud the Liverpool Football club had to come kicking and screaming and after much prompting they finally apologised. Do you seriously want to
Go Down this track? For the last time Luis Suarez wouldn't set foot at Old Trafford.

Yeah I know, I just don't like it(but if it was in a Chelsea shirt I'm sure it wouldn't bother me as much). Just comes across as if he's saying 'how good am I'. But hey, he's scores when he wants doesn't he.

Imagine the outcry if Luis Suarez was in goal here.

                Re: 2012-13 FA Cup

I'm a little staggered there's a disagreement on this board about the sportsmanship within the Premier League/FA/CL, using some of the most bullying and self serving managers in professional sport to determine what's acceptable and what's not.

The Premier League/FA/CL produces some of the best football a spectator can watch, but one would have to be completely foolhardy to suggest that those who manage teams at the pointy end are any better than their counterparts, or anyone else that manages football teams in the leagues across the globe.

There's going to be some playes that will own up, and there's some that won't. There's going to be managers who flap their arms when things don't go their way, and there's some that won't. There's going to be managers who completely deny the actions of their players on the pitch when a result goes their way, and the same managers will flip out over the same actions benefiting the opposition when they don't.

The game allows this sort of behaviour. In many cases it encourages it. I'm flabbergasted that anyone can't get over that aspect of it.
                TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

I read that when Cantona Kung Fu kicked a fan Ferguson said there was an overreaction, though was not sold at the time.

What Eric did was unacceptable and he was duly punished.
Ferguson's response was poor as well.
Gee mate, should I dig up Heysel as well and the blame put on another Club's fan base?

You already did! I can't be bothered with this anymore, really over it.

Yep, time to move on(imagine this happening Monday morning).

Great win by Bradford 3-1 over Aston Villa in the first leg of their League Cup Semi. Hope they go through, what a great story

Chelsea face Swansea tomorrow morning in the other Semi.

Sorry if I've trolled a bit here - was only trying to point out managers (even ones that seem as 'strong' as Fergie) aren't always consistent with their message Remi.

Was about to say great result to Swansea chef, but...you know...

Yep, Ivanovic had the game from hell coughing up 2 goals, plus playing with a false 9 for 80 minutes doesn't help. Big job in front of us now

Fair enough. He's said some idiotic things over a long period of time and made some mistakes.
Also got a lot right as well.
Two surprising results in the league cup. Villa have a young squad but they should be turning over Bradford. Thought Chelsea would take care of business at home to Swansea.

                                So did I.

But 2 Ivanovic brain explosions(can't remember the last time he ever had one), an on side goal not allowed and 3 fantastic stops from their keeper made for a crappy day at work.
