Rogers is a bit of a surprsie, but his numbers stack up.

Haddin named as VC.. as a keeper/ batsman or just batsman... Interesting times ahead.
Taking Haddin is a joke let alone VC.

*!*!*!*! me. Brad Haddin, he seems to have some God given right to be in the team regardless of performance. He'll be a great man when the chips are down, throw his wicket away when we're trying to build a respectable score then drop a catch and let 25 byes through because "he's so disappointed with his batting performance".

Have to keep in mind that we will have a lot of guys outside the squad but in the area: Agar, Burns etc who can be called in. Smith probably a bit stiff after his tour of India and I don't really get Faulkner's role, if he plays it cant be any higher than 8, he isn't a test number 7 yet.

Haddin is obviously ridiculous but other than that its the best squad they probably could've come up with

He's fit and bowling at the Centre of Excellence but the lad needs cricket, he hasnt played competitively in 6 months and hasn't played first class cricket since November 2011, coming up on 18 months. I think we are settled for quicks without having to rush him in, let the boy string games together for NSW for mine.

6 quicks and one spinner isn't balanced.
There is a lot of top order batsman and not many that would naturally fit at 5 and 6.

Haddin has to be the wicket keeper doesn't he? We shouldn't bat him or Wade at 6.

I think there thinking is Agar is already over there so no need for him to be in the squad and Ahmed isn't eligible yet. The most likely middle order batsman in Bailey and Burns will be over there as well

It's probably one of those "great guy to have in the dressing room" things.

Plus he's a blond bogan from NSW.
                    TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

Say it aint so but Ryan Harris is out for 6-8 weeks with an Achilles injury. Honestly I have no idea why a guy in his position would go to the IPL in the first place

yes, at 33 he won't be getting many more chances.

Not the smartest move I wouldn't have thought.
I guess with the money that is being splashed around the boyhood dreams of playing for your country moves down the pecking order.

Perhaps moves to the side rather than down if that makes sense!
