Apart from nothing else it wasn't a red card. The ball was going wide anyway.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Disaster for Arsenal yet again, amazing stuff up by the ref. You could see Chamberlain say "it was me".

Also, can't wait to hear Jose talk about how City are still favourites after the match too.

Newcastle came from 4-0 down against us to draw 4 all a few years ago when we were top of the League.

Not against a Jose team you don't.

I'm nearly ready to concede this one.

Congrats to Chelsea. Far too good for us.

At least we can concentrate on the FA cup now. Although we can still get within 4 points again if we win our extra game.

Big night for the contenders with 6,6 & 5 scored.

Still a red card. The Ox thought it was going in and tried to be a goalkeeper. Deliberate and attempting to block a goal is an instant red.

About the only part the ref got correct

Yeah, I thought it was a correct red too. Pretty deliberate hand ball to stop a shot the Ox thought was going in.

Geez Salah looks to have a fair change of pace on him.

Well done to Chelsea, that was a real thrashing and reminded me of the Liverpool game when we were blown away in the first 10 minutes. Arsenal just doesn't have a good defence and the ease with which those first two goals were virtually given away, we didn't deserve to be in the game. After the penalty, I went to bed, but looks like we didn't give a yelp. Injuries with no back ups have killed us.

Fair enough. I was going on the interpretation from the match commentators. I don't suppose one player was going to make much difference anyway.

Yep. As I have mentioned before we have a shit squad and the fact we are still a vague chance is a miracle anyway.

Now that I look at it the commentators look like hey may have been right:

Law 12 - fouls and misconduct
                                Sending-off offences
A player, substitute or substituted player is sent off if he commits any of the following seven offences:

                                serious foul play
                                violent conduct
spitting at an opponent or any other person

denying the opposing team a goal or an obvious goalscoring opportunity by deliberately handling the ball (this does not apply to a goalkeeper within his own penalty area)

denying an obvious goalscoring opportunity to an opponent moving towards the player's goal by an offence punishable by a free kick or a penalty kick
using offensive, insulting or abusive language and/or gestures
receiving a second caution in the same match

Given the ball was going to miss the goal, how did Ox "deny an obvious goal scoring opportunity"?
