Watched the game, linesman flag waved the penalty immediately and he had a better view. I would be more annoyed at your defender if I was you absolute brain explosion lunging like he did. Schwarzer was in position and your defender (cant remember who) was steaming from lookin a fool by slipping. Good luck in the CL but be honest you were terrible and you bring that game to Anfield and Pool will tear you up.

You don't honestly believe Chelsea can come to Anfield and stop Pool do you? I'm more worried about the Palace game. I hope Chelsea win the CL but it's Pools time and Stevie G is going to hold the Cup high above the KOP.

The problem was you don't go in like he did especially at that stage of the game. The way they were slipping at that end he gifted the decision to go that way.

I don't see why not. Our record against the other top 8 clubs is second to none this season, we are a big game team. But that being said I wouldn't be surprised if we rest a few with an eye on the CL semi.

Didn't say it was clear cut I think it was the intent in his tackle that made him call it. Silly defending that could've gone either way and there have been clearer non-penalties awarded this season than that.

Don't confuse Confidence with Cockyness, your record is second to none but It doesn't include coming to Anfield. You don't stay up to 5am to watch your Competition play the bottom side at home if you've just come out the woodwork I just don't post in this thread and its only the new layout that showed me the Activity.

FWIW I was disappointed you dropped the three points, like you said now you and Jose have the excuse of the CL to fall back on instead of facing the SAS. April 27 has been circled in my calender for awhile.

We have to go to Norwich and then Palace after hosting you and its harder playing a team thats fighting for their lives than a paycheck side. So anything can happen.

So you should be mate. At home to them should be a walk up three points. I've been hoping your CL keeps going because of the extra games you have to play, more games theres more chance of mistakes.

We have to go to Palace and they are flying, and we have already gone so long without dropping points its been a massive run that could burst at any time...we sit around like bulldog fans waiting for something to go wrong.

But the feeling the last month is of confidence that I havnt felt. I feel it's our time I really do and I felt it before the City game and it's only stronger now but the thought of a decider with you with the winner takes the league is something I was salivating over who knows maybe something will happen tonight it's been an amazing season.
