    Re: 2013-14 EPL Thread.

Some news about the dust up here:

Luis Suarez and Martin Skrtel appeared to come to blows in a Liverpool training session on Friday, in perhaps the first sign that there is trouble in Merseyside paradise.

FWIW I don't see punch ups at training as being a bad thing. I'd be more surprised if a bunch of competitive guys didn't have fights at training from time to time.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Yeah nothing wrong with that at training.

            He's Liverpool through and through.
Yep luckily it would have been a huge mistake. He will go down as one of the Greats of the League and be remembered for Eternity at Liverpool.

Each team has their Legends. Stevie G is one of ours. 15 million? I reckon he would still be doin ok.

Oh Remi it was of Epic proportions. But I tell ya I'd much rather choke at the top than be starting a long stint in the middle of the table.

By the way Remi, have a peak at the table. If its only a couple of nights Ill enjoy the top of the table, this time last season we were 7th not even the Ferg could do that.

YNWA Remi, City still have to win.

24 years and counting. Take your lumps now, there's been a fair bit of schadenfreude thrown Uniteds way all season.
I wouldn't get to cosy thinking United are going to be crap for a long period either.

I heard about it the night of the Chelsea game, but didnt see any report. First thought was, good at least they are on their toes but seeing them pictures told a different story to the one reported.

I'll take my lumps if City don't lose another game, until then I'm going to hold onto my hat and look to the heavens.

We have an exciting list that needs work in the back and a little through the middle. Fix it and we can spend a sustained run at the top.

All with the knowledge that your 20 will stay 20 for quite awhile yet. Next season is massive for United an extended run without CL and you will struggle to attract what is needed to fill the holes that Ferguson left.

                      Keep that seat warm Remi.

What an amazing season of twists and turns.

FFS I hope there are no more twists and turns, though. Surely we bag it from here, but it's been such a swinging season.

Sunday will be full of drama, that's for sure.. In a way it's a shame that we aren't any chance for third. Pity Palace didn't win. Third is automatic passage while fourth has to play a two legger to qualify.

The qualifiers take place eariy in the season and provide considerable nuisance value.

Did you honestly think you had the squad to challenge this time last season?
It's a little bit of clairvoyancy thinking United are going to stay on 20 for quite a while.
United will always attract BIG players, regardless of C/L or not. Time will tell obviously.

Season is over. Liverpool doing well and their "non plastic" fans (funny how their fan base has increased 10 fold in the last 2 months) getting a bit ahead of themselves has helped to create some brilliant memes and vine videos.

Villa just guaranteed survival so they will be in party mode. West Ham did the same and played their cup final vs Tottenham. Be surprised if City win either by less than 3

When you have Suarez anything is possible, but no just making it back into the 4 was the aim. Then Challenging next Season for the League so expectations will certainly grow from now. The problem when you drop out is keeping your good players let alone attracting the players you need to get back into the 4 then it just snowballs into 2 or 3 years or even 4 outside the 4. Debts grow and pressure mounts on the owners to keep spending.

We were lucky to get Suarez despite what some think of him but had to sell our main man to get him if it had of gone belly up who knows how long we would've stayed down for. Like I said next year is massive for United you can keep your top players with the promise of getting straight back in but if you don't they will want out.
