Was there a hotspot? It was inconclusive at best and Snicko is not "admissable". How was that decision made? Yes there was a noise and it probably was a nick, but probably isn't enough. If the batsman reviews then surely the evidence has to be looked at from the point of view does this inconclusively support the umpires decision? No chance could Hughes have been given out.

Weak effort from Khwaja, already given a life and still didn't want to tough it out. He seems to be a cricketer that doesn't like to do the hard stuff.

I need to get my prescription updated, as that looked like a white mark on the ball than the bat! Second worst to the AFL's hotch potch technology .

I am staggered that Hughes can be given out to that and have a review turned down. The point of the technology is to stop wrong decisions, yet this didn't. If snicko was remotely accurate (other than a Sky entertainment tool) fine, but he has been screwed over badly. This DRS has to go. It is pointless. If DRS was good enough to "convict" clarke at trent Bridge then for consistency it had to be able to acquit Hughes. I have lost all faith in cricket at the moment!

If unsure it goes to the original decision. No way you could say that was 100% not out.

                Tea, and we're in shambles.
Unfortunately Australia A also had a couple of batting collapses in Zimbabwe, so probably not much form players to come in. Warner made 6 and 11 vs Zimbabwe.

This team truly is terrible, they are just bad in every area of the game.

Bowlers regularly bowling no balls, poor fielding with the slips cordon at times comical, massive batting technical flaws, no temperament to bat for long periods of time, atrocious use of DRS, and horrible running between wickets.

Despite the players demanding massive sums of money these days the professional standards have dropped dramatically in the last 10 years.

When Watson called for a review an England player literally started laughing.

It's hard to believe that just a few years ago, Mike Hussey and Brad Hodge were averaging 55+ in first class cricket and still had to do a heap of work just to get a look in, even then Hodge wasn't considered to have a good enough technique for a top order bat at international level. We could only dream of having Hussey and Hodge in their prime now, let alone Hayden, Ponting etc. Amazing how we've fallen

Oh Haddin you are so crap. Thats twice he has half gone for a regulation keepers catch, pulled out of it and put off first slip. Terrible decision maker for DRS, mostly a terrible bat too. Just go away.

                          Very ordinary from Haddin.
Players should play, umpires not players should adjudicate .
Hopefully this summer we get wickets suitable for batting, unlike the greentops we had last summer!
Hopefully this summer we don't get our first class season ruined by that T20 tripe.
Hurt a few batsmen in form , having their momentum stopped playing Mickey Mouse cricket.

                            We are a *!*!*!*!ing shambles.

We have had 4 months to get our batting line-up in order and its all over the shop, the fact that we have to bring in 2 x 35 year olds to add experience shows just how bad Clarke & Watson are in providing leadership.. These 2 are the most self-obssessed cricketers we have ever had and Clarke's sheer reluctance to bat at no.4 is *!*!*!*!ing pathetic... Lead your team you flog!

And it starts at the top and Cricket Australia's decision in to create the KFC Big Bash has ruined our test team. Time for James Sutherland to get the arse and time for our country to focus on whats important... Test cricket.

I feel sorry for Boof had he been given the job a year earlier I would think It would have made a huge difference, he has to now try and build a team during an ashes series .
