Tigers leaving men on. Sanchez looking unhittable.

Sanchez has looked amazing but walked too many hitters so doesn't go further than 6. Our pen is worry but big Al has just done a big job in the 7th. Just need to get it to Benoit in the 9th. If they get a run & it goes extras we are in strife, not a good record when it comes to extra innings. Go Tigers!!

Sanchez got wild and couldn't buy a strike.

Valverde. We brought him back again this year but again lost the plot so he was released.

Glad thats over. Was a damn nervous wreck in the end.

Tigers first team in MLB history to have 3 straight no hitters through 5 innings.
                Scherzer dealing it

                  Tiger bullpen imploded
Big Papi grand slam ties it up. I love the intracasies ( no love from spellcheck) but that right field fence is to small.Tough scrappy effort from the Red Sox

Each run of the grand slam charged to a different pitcher. Hilarious.
Tigers have nobody but themselves to blame. Put one of the best hitters in baseball in a position to tie it up, then promptly imploded.

                      Not happy!!!

Why did Leyland take Scherzer out? Only had 108 pitches & could of thrown another 15 pitches.

Why on gods earth did Leyland take Benoit out for Porcello? That pretty much conceded the game for me.

                        Seniors moment Anfo?
Thought the same thing, the plan might be out of the pen later in the series.

Game 3 and a win to the Dodgers over the Cards.
Few very poor defensive efforts from the Cards in the outfield, which cost them big time.
Mince again in the post season starting pitching was outstanding.

I'm barracking for the Tigers, they were the first home game I went to in the US in 2005. The Pirates are my favourite team though (saw them in 2007 and have relatives in Pittsburgh) and I also like the Orioles (we were lucky enough to get to a game there in June). Also saw the Giants play in San Francisco this year but didn't really feel the love. So Go Tigers!!

                              Not happy again!!!

We've had amazing starting pitching and we still are behind in this series. Can't be upset with Jim this time. Geez our hitters made Lackey look like Cy Young. He threw curve balls away all night and you'd think someone would be able to adjust. Disgraceful performance!!!!

AJ has been close to an automatic out in the post season as there ever has been. Torii stop running your mouth and do something for Christ sake. Jim needs to adjust the batting line up to get something going before it completely gets away from us. Other than Victor and the bloke who can't even spell his first name correctly our hitting has been abysmal thus far.

Long way to go so still time to get ourselves out of this mess. Go Tigers!!!

Caught some of the Dodger game ( distinct lack of atmosphere)
Seems its Puig or bust for the Dodgers
Looks like we'll have the incessant "great baseball town St Louis" ad nauseam
