So in the snippets on the Sky site it says he suffers from anxiety. Are we now saying he doesn't suffer from anxiety?

Shot- Code for weak as piss when it gets tough.

I would expect him to stand by his mates and tough it out for the team. I would never want to play with a guy who quit like that ever again. Graeme Swann is the same, he took the slightly less cowardly step of retiring mid-losing series, although his pathetic justification for it was almost as weak.

It shits me tears. I won't declare anything I've suffered from ATM, but I'm about to commence a defamation action against someone who abused knowledge of it (god it's expensive). I hate not only the wide spread ignorance, but to leverage against people that actually have it is cutting. It's no different then faking a physical injury in the Paralympics.

Excellent synopsis BT and I hope all goes well with your case.
Unfortunately Trott will not be the last to fane an illness or injury and it just makes the case of the next sportsperson who actually has a illness that little bit harder to believe.
More the 'Boy who pretended to cry over wolf' than the 'Boy who cried wolf'.
Being under pressure and not being able to cope is just a character floor it does not mean you have anxiety or depression.

I am not defending Trott, nor do I care about what he said and didn't say. What I said was IF he was physcially and mentally shot, then he did the right thing to quit the tour. He was no good to keep going and playing on.

That's fair enough. Just as long as you understand the clear line between what he presented as his issue at the time versus what he's admitted to since (which I think, you do).

It's such a stupid situation now.
