Its a funny game the Shield final. WA have obviously been the stronger side in the final itself - the top of the table is a huge advantage (I'm not disagreeing with it btw - just noting). Vics to hold on for dear life - hopefully we can bat it out only 3 or 4 down and finish strongly.
Chris Rogers b N.Coulter-Nile 17
Rob Quiney c S.Whiteman b A.Tye 53
Marcus Stoinis c and b A.Agar 8
David Hussey not out 26
Peter Handscomb b N.Coulter-Nile 13
Matthew Wade not out 6
Vics were never going to chase down the total so why in the hell did WA bat on this morning? In fact, why didn't they have a crack at the Vics for 5 overs last night?

I thought the same thing. They had nothing to lose but the final.

Congratulations Victoria on Sheffield Shield no. 29.
And thanks again to Lemmon for providing the link. I managed to watch the last few hours today, it was gripping and at least I got to watch Victoria win the shield.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.
