Big, big call. He hasn't done it against top quality away swing yet, I still think he can let his hands get too far away from his body

Nothing ball either, poor shot rather than good bowling

Anyone around the TV should flick this on, some absolutely electric cricket being played. The fielding has been unbelievable thus far

That is indeed a huge call. Ponting is often spoken of as only 2nd to Bradman.

Smith needs to perform for a long time to be seen in that company.

He's averaging 67 against South Africa after a series over there. I doubt there's a better away swing bowler in the world than Steyn.

Just started watching it this afternoon. We look to be doing great. Steve Smith you would have to say is one of the most improved players for us. The Indians have struggled in this series.

Happy to hear Burns batted well as we need a pure batsman in the side. Does anyone know if his runs come mainly from behind the wicket or in front of it?

Stopped after Vijay took an edge to Haddin at the the side of the pitch next to Vijay and held a double fist pump scream in his face.

Over the top if you ask me, especially from someone like Starc.

He seemed to score quite freely front and back. Some really nice footwork down the pitch to spin bowling.

Very good straight to the spinners, was happy to come down the pitch and loft Ashwin and swept fairly strongly. He didn't really drive the quicks which I'd like to see but played a number of nice pull shots. I think he can bogged down with the ball on off stump which may be a concern. To be fair he didn't face much of the quicks

Apparently it's the first time ever for Australia that all top 6 batsman made a score over 50.

I wonder if that makes it a bot harder to select him at number 3 at the moment. By the way, providing Watson stays healthy it's going to be hard for the selectors to drop him.

It was pretty minor, just an exaggerated scream of yes, basically what every Australian batsman has copped every time they've been dismissed this series. You know the sort of thing that if an Australian bowler did they'd be called pathetic and if an Australian batsman complained about they'd be called a sook.
