Crap. Don't think that will suit us. But It probably won't suit them either. I was spewing the game was in Newcastle. Hopefully class will come through.

Sydney? What a waste, we (crowd) are so much better in Melbourne I still think we will have them in the Final, they got lucky last time.

      more worried about tonight.

Agree about being a better and more passionate crowd in Melbourne. Glad it is in Sydney though as I can go and have tickets .

Tonight will be tough. UAE are a pretty good team. We should beat them on quality though. As for Sth Korea - we should have beaten them in the pool match but they are a good team and will be tough to break down. 50/50 game for mine (assuming we make it through).

Great start. Need to keep attacking though.

Well done by the boys to make the final. Not the greatest performance tonight but started very well and held UAE out. Did what they needed to do.

Well done to the Socceroos. That was a tense second half. Not the prettiest football to watch but our two central defenders really stood out especially with some clean tackles to prevent shots on goal toward the end.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

It's certainly our best chance. Not downplaying the threat that South Korea pose but them knocking Japan out in the semi final would have been a huge boost for us. Still it would have been nice beating Japan in the final.

                    Anyway bring it on!

UAE beat Japan in the qtr.'s.

We'll want to play better than last night if we are going to beat Korea.

Good first half, but really they were 2 nil down and had to come at us .
Thought Sainsbury and Spiranovic defensive partnership worked well, but they may have played their final beating Japan.
The Koreans were very fortunate last time and I have a feeling if we're near our best we'll win.

                          True.

Last game against South Korea we had 67% of possessions but just couldn't convert. I think we can outplay them again, just a matter of scoring.

Am I the only one who gets really nervous when Matt Ryan does anything other than pick up the ball? Every time the ball is at his feet I have this picture of Rene Higuita being tackled by Roger Milla at Italia 90.

Last time we were missing Leckie, Kruse, Cahill and Jedinak too.

Nope. I've had my heart in my mouth multiple times this tournament but he seems to make it work. That headed clearance outside the box last night was a thing of beauty / terror.
Scratchy win last night, but 2-0 after 15 minutes forgives a lot of sins.
Would love a player with Omar Abdulrahmen's creativity in the Australian midfield.
