We are the Kings Of Asia!

I don't think I have ever been prouder of an Australian sporting team. We were gone for years after the last of the Golden generation finished. I think this has the makings of a superior team to the one we had then. They play for and with each other.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Agree. The FFA have stumbled across their saviour. He's doinn his perfect job he's a proud Aussie good with the press and ge sees decent at his job.

You can tell a team he coaches without knowing he coaches it.

Good to also have a homegrown coach instead of all those internationals we had.

Yep was just thinking before myself, can this team be even better than the one we had in Germany? I really think this team could be better, the age group and the quality that Ange has to work with has so much growth left, its bloody exciting!

Was shattered for Kruse, I hope he is ok he is a damn good talent. Swindon Town turned down 2 mil for Luongo, they obviously knew what he can be. To be honest I'd never heard of him until the Cup started. But the list goes on, we had a top WC and didn't get our best side on the park well I already can't wait for the next one.

I think the Confed Cup is next? Can't wait!

Amazing game and amazing night. Best sporting event I have been to (didn't make the Uruguay game in '06 or been to an AFL GF). The atmosphere was brilliant, the tension had every on the edge of their seats.

This is a huge night for football in Australia. The popularity of the sport will continue to grow.

I'd forgotten that qualifies us for the CONFEDS ciup.

I bet it would've been incredible, the tension, I was tired just watching it at home. Your right tonight is Massive for the sport and so it should be!

Yea in Russia 2017, with another 2 years growth so many in the team will be at a peak age. So much to look forward to.

Yep. It would be great to do well in or even maybe win or make the final of a major tournament like that.

Amazing win. I pretty much only watch Soccer when Australia are playing. But this had my glued to the screen, was just fantastic.

Loved the commentary too. It was biased, but yet so passionate. The "where did they did get this guy from" line after the ref made a poor decision was brilliant!

eased down to the line in the end.
