An in form Hunter (probably wasn’t going to happen with us, he’s been “ok” this year but he’s no longer a star like he was or had the potential to be with us) and Dunkley, would make us a better side but Lipinski, Cordy and Young we are better off with them having chosen greener pastures.

I am ok with him going on next year , and the next , as long as he not win a premiership . You can have all as many millions in the world , but Brian Lake has 3 premierships and a norm smith

Congrats to Ward, Cordy, Dunkley, Hunter, Schache, Lippa & Young. Enjoy finals. Odds are there’s a premiership player in our exs now while we meekly have up our year.

If it’s Dunks, it’s the ultimate vindication for him and his decision.

I was pretty dirty on Dunkley but it would be interesting to know the real reasons why he left. Might be money, might be a few other things too.

Most of us can probably admit we all knew why he was leaving. I didn't want to admit it at the time.

We replaced Dunkley easily enough with Bont who is going to be AA and possibly win a Brownlow after playing the Dunkley role better than Dunkley did.

We just didn't replace what Bont used to do with anyone competent.

I don't think we really replaced Dunkley and I feel a couple of those close losses would have been reversed if we had have had him and his defensive capabilities in the midfield rotations.

I have mentioned this before, - Dunkley had issues with Hunter - as verified by his Uncle to me, however, overall it was money.
