Quirky stat that burns a little, Jarrod Harbrow and Callan Ward both played their 150th games for their respective plastic franchises on the weekend. Harbrow took an extra season to get there with Ward missing very few games and playing finals.

The silver lining with Ward is Macrae. Even though Ward would've stayed if we didn't mismanage those talks. I wish I could say we didn't piss Harbrow's compo away on Sherman, but we did. That burns a whole lot more. May as well have given the pick away for nothing and saved on salary.

Pretty sure Rocket was a fan of Sherman. Even had Picken tag Sherman in the 2009 semi final. In defence of that, Sherman was starting to look like a real player around that time, and then just fell away dreadfully.

I recall that Rocket had the casting vote. Against that was the fact the people of earth voted him second biggest current dickhead in the AFL behind Akermanis. And true to form the first time he opened his mouth after the trade the club made him apologise. I’m not sure the no dickhead policy is equally applied sometimes, especially here.

Pretty sure Sherman didn't even finish the warm up of his first training session when Rocket gave him a serve... doing a warm up lap of Whitten Oval with his short off and showing that stupid necklace tatt he had recently gotten inked just before his transfer to us.

That was Bmac. He told him he wasn't tough enough to get around with no shirt when he stripped off for the media who'd just arrived.

Sherman, Akermanis, and Moles just for a start were all mature recruits and known quantities. They were also dickheads of the highest order and didn't pretend to be otherwise. We recruited them all during that era and had to exit them all in messy circumstances (at least Moles was low profile enough not to be noticed).

His statement was manifestly inaccurate but opinions are welcome to be.
