Ayce Cordy won the Woodrow Medal in the VAFA which is essentially their brownlow.
For anyone who had doubts it shows just how strong the VFL competition is. Ayce played 18 games in the VFL last season and got in the best players only once. At A grade ammos he wins the competition medal.

It's always seemed big men of reasonable quality really stand out in local/grade footy, because they're few and far between.
TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.
Pyrrhic victory for him, the deserter... Finishes his career with plastics with nothing to show.
Could have stayed with us and wore a premiership over his head. How many prelims has he played?
There's no premiership without him leaving us.
I thank him for triggering the ultimate cluster *!*!*!*! that resulted in our club drastically changing course, and putting in place what was needed to win the 2016 flag. He will always be a Bulldog hero.

Do we need to tell Barrett who has won out of that trade?
I think he was mentally drained and his back was shot when he left us, We were in the best position to get the most for him before clubs realised he was done .
I see it similar to when we traded Templeton who’s knees were on a spiral downhill at the time.
I watched some Griffen highlights a bit earlier, his barnstorming runs and kicking long goals really stood out.
I really enjoyed watching him play for us

Agree. He was a key contributor and played some big games and bigger finals during our 2005-2010 run. During our poorer years afterwards he carried a lot of load and improved his consistency before his body started to let him down a bit. It was very disappointing when he left, but ended up OK for us and was clearly the right thing for him too.
He never really fired a shot at GWS. They must be regretting their "recruiting coup". The media like to give GWS a free pass but they were paying Griffen megabucks which has been a contributing factor in a number of gun young players leaving.
It's been a great result for us.
