Fantastic round of results for us from a finals perspective, especially is Melbourne can hold on. Percentage booster for us and Port and Geelong losing against bottom 4 teams, and Richmond losing at home as favourite.

Melbourne giving Geelong a headache. Hard to see them losing from here.

It's a great result for us. Beat St Kilda next week and we have a game and percentage on Geelong and North and we're above GWS on percentage

Melbourne bearing Geelong today almost makes up the damage we took when they beat us.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Great performance by Melbourne ( kudos to Roos ) Geelong isn't the fortress it once was.
Bernie Vince was sensational as was Jones .
How good is young Brayshaw? Melbourne getting that pick for Frawley was criminal

It's really only Essendon and Gold Coast that aren't showing any hints of improvement. Most other teams are looking more competitive than than were at the start of the season, you can't take anyone lightly.

Coming from a long way back, but Gold Coast had a decent crack against Freo last time around and think when they get a few back they will push most teams, especially up north.

The Freo game was more competitive but the conditions helped make it so. Their previous 4 matches they lost by an average of 66 points. They'll get some players back but I don't see the team improving greatly based on what they're showing.

Only Essendon seem to have less idea of what they're trying to achieve on game day at the moment, although Essendon has the potential to get their act together a bit quicker looking at their team.

Long may it continue with Tird at the helm. Come on Paul Little, surely it's time for another contract extension

Ironically the entire football community AND half of Essendon supporters want to see this. It's only the rational Essendon supporter that gets screwed. The utilitarian approach says give him another 3 years

I do feel sorry for both of them.
