                He was always going to be project, they've clearly made the call that the football side won't develop to match the athleticism. I have to be honest I haven't seen enough of him to judge but am a bit surprised they've given him the arse already.

                    I know that late in the game when he played his second (and last) AFL game in 2014, Richardson had him on the phone late in the game telling him along the lines of - 'you can play at this level, and we'll stick with you, if you shows us you have the attitude and can do the work that we ask you to....etc etc'. Obviously he wasn't able to meet the demands of being a professional athlete. He's certainly not the first, nor will he be the last.

                        Nathan Freeman (Collingwood) wants to be traded.
                        FFC: Established 1883

                        Premierships: AFL 1954, 2016 VFA - 1898,99,1900, 1908, 1913, 1919-20, 1923-24, VFL: 2014, 2016 . Champions of Victoria 1924. AFLW - 2018.

                            That's a disaster for Collingwood considering they got two top 10s that year (scharenberg and Freeman) and one can't get on the field (and has been linked to S.A and the other now wants out). Sure you'll get some return but not what you gave up.

                                I think Scharenberg re-signed last week.

                                            His best is about as good as any ruckman ever plays. Destroyed Sandilands.

                                            I'm not sure we can gamble that the 1-2 good games he plays per season (largely due to his body letting him down) are going to take us much further.

                                                    You could count the number of good games he's played in his career on your fingers. More often than not he struggles to have any influence on a game. Wade Skipper kicked 5 goals in a game once.
