It's not a confirmed trade but Matthew Lobbe has officially told Port Adelaide that he is 'open' to a trade back to Victoria, despite being contracted for four more years at the Power.

Not sure about that one. With Geelong also looking strongly at Dangerfield, Z.Smith and S.Selwood, their deals will be complicated. Dangerfield the priority. Cats won't trade 1st pick before Danger is settled and Carlton won't take 2nd, so complicated.

Actually not a defender at all. He simply plays behind the ball to receive uncontested possession before utilising some unusual tricks by foot.

Nothing more dangerous than a guy who can't kick that thinks he really can. See: Boyd, M 2012-13 model.

Andrew Moore from Port is looking for another club, He has really struggled with injuries but I wonder if he might be worth having a talk to?

Did he read Daniel Chicks comments about the Worsfold era and think it was a positive story and that it would be fully sick to have a coach like that?

Bit of a stretch to say he is linked. I heard the interview with Worsfold, and he was asked " would you look at Bennell", the answer, he certainly has some talent

I don't think so. Worsfold stated they needed to find out where his head is at and whether he has the commitment to play AFL and he said 'we'll explore that'. Sounds like the commencent of a due diligence to me. I'd say that's a link, wouldn't you?

I be having a chat to him. He's a versatile player who hasn't quite kicked on at Port, but at his size could add some depth and plug a few holes for us. I wonder what his market value is?

GWS are after a mature-age ruckman during the trade period, having shown interest in Magpie Jarrod Witts, Western Bulldog Will Minson, Geelong free agent Dawson Simpson and the Sydney Swans' No.2 ruckman Tom Derickx.

Minson is the best ruckman in that lot. Witts is ok but Collingwood like playing him and Grundy in the same team and what is it with everyone wanting to go to Geelong?
