Sorry mate this isnt a post on favourite commentators or excitement into the game, this is just on Dennis funny quotes.
Whether you like him or not in my opinion he lets out some pearlers at times.

I love Cometti's witty one liners.
He went up an astronomical level on Friday night at half time.
Nick Riewoldt was special guest and while leading him in Cometti said something like.........
"This game is moving from end to end, it's exciting and energetic, no body is clogging up the play and It's far from boring. It's safe to say Nick, this isn't a Saints game!"

PS (and this is at least the third or seventeenth time) I am extremely lucky enough to have met DC a few times, and don't be surprised if all these things are pre-planned.

He carries a big folder (all hand written) of funny quotes that may apply to the right moment/player.

I asked him about when Jason Gram had his dacks pulled off "its a stripper gram" that SURELY that wasn't pre-written

"He has been playing footy a long time"


PS I think he is easily the best footy commentator by 1000%. Will happily watch a boring game if he is commentating.

Love Dennis but he is making more mistakes year by year which really annoys me. Eg, Grant in good form at willy last week kicking six. Little things but annoying IMO.

I think he is getting a touch bored with it all.
