Im sure plenty do bornadog, but i actually made the post in regards to his wit, he must have let go a couple you find funny,wasnt intended to be a whos a better commentator or if he is good, in fact he is probably regarded as the worst by some.
I just found over the years he has softened the seriousness of games and bought some humour into it with his wit and I was after his one liners I would have missed.
Most are quite clever some are rubbish and he tends to bring them out at the right time even if he does have them pre thought of.
Maybe he is a terrible commentator its just nice to have a giggle after all its just a game.

Yes thats true Ledge. I did like when he said Cooney did a Rooney after the soccer goal. That one you can't practise.

Dennis has been great over the journey, but the time is right. I reckon the humour has been a bit forced over the last year or so and he's looked a little jaded. If I were 7, I'd try and talk him into a Bill Lawry style cameo every now and again.

Denis has seen the light. Ch 7 have dragged his reputation down into the mud by turning him into a pantomime act.

In terms of replacements, knowing Ch 7 it will be BT promoted to Friday nights and Darcy promoted to head commentator on Saturday nights. Would expect nothing better from that shitstain of a network.

Yeah I agree. He hasn't been the same the past few years. It's time for him to go. Same with Bruce, BT, Luke Darcy, Hamish McLachlan, Cameron Ling, Basil....
