      Starting to take shape.
Is it almost impossible to argue any of these, or who do they replace if you remove one?
      Data-driven, not opinion.

I am not fading Baily Smith, and he might be the Brownlow favourite (That says more about the Brownlow and the limitation of a 3-2-1 voting system), however, the data does not support the media's constant love-in with Baily. He is an elite runner, getting a lot of the ball and good on him. However, I believe he is still not a Top 10 Inside Mid.

      Backs:
      Taylor - Moore - Wilkie - Ash - Sinclair - Dale - (Wanganeen-Milera)

      Outside:
      Z Bailey - Dempsey

      Inside:
Richards - Brayshaw - Anderson (Libba - McCluggage)

      Ruck:
      Xerri

      Forwards:
      Thilthorpe - Cameron - Pickett - Martin - Long - Elliot (Hogan)

I vomited in mouth when I saw this name... are we picking the Supercoach all-stars or the team of the year?

All of those, and probably Greene & Rachele too.

I would think to warrant a spot as a forward you need to be averaging more than 1 goal a game and be very high up on the score involvement & goal assist list. (Martin is outside the top 40 in both categories)

Yeah, fair. He is that link player though, and doing a hell of a job of it. In a way, he is his own position. No one else on that team would be filling his role. Can see the Dons falling away big time from here anyway, it will resolve itself.
