SPP is a beast, he can't kick well so not sure if that's in line with our rumoured trade targets so far

He's not been that good with his focus away from the footy field either.
There seems to be a few players wanting to leave Port so I wonder if Hinkley has either turned up the pressure on performance or if he is just a hard taskmaster.

Why would any player want to go to a Ross Lyon coached Freo let alone a forward? Would be a bad move.

I guess the lure back to WA, and maybe he thinks with Darling and Kennedy at West Coast, then he would be better off at Freo

Offered a 3 year deal by the Saints - looks like they will finally get someone to agree to go there.

The Age reporting that Steven May has met with Essendon, Hawthorn, Collingwood and Melbourne. We don't appear to have an interest.

Do Hawthorn not have a salary cap, like Essendon? Wingard & May? Not to mention nothing much to trade with.

They would have Cyril and Vickery money to spend. If they had the room for Lynch I'm sure they have the room for Wingard or May (but surely not both). The trade currency has to be an issue though.

That’s what I mean. Wingard looks to want $800,000+ and May similar if there’s bidding war. Plus none of their players would go to GCS for O’Meara, and I assume that still stands. Pick 14 won’t get May or Wingard alone, or even with 2019 1st. Maybe they just like talking to people? Friendly bunch.

Good thing for our Wingard prospects. If they get May, it takes them out of Chad contention, and it sounds like it's a two-horse race.
