Re: Proactive Poaching
He had a poor game last week and perhaps combined with thought he might be heading south the Gold Coast MC decided to drop him along with Peter WrightWestern Bulldogs Football Club "Where it's cool to drool"Comment

Re: Proactive Poaching
Our first with Gold Coast's late first (18/19) coming back to us?
I'd love to try and trade for both GWS first rounders and offer the later one for Jack Martin with a future 3rd or 4th coming back to us.
Jack simply shouldn't have been playing last week due to injury. If anything it shows he cares about playing. I really think he's the type who would play better in a better side - not dissimilar to Sam Lloyd who lacks Martin's pace and overhead ability.Western Bulldogs: 2016 PremiersComment

Re: Proactive Poaching
Yep - and Jong was offered more money at Gold Coast last time and chose to sign with us instead.
That's if Jongy plays on at all.

Re: Proactive Poaching
Well we aren't talking Dangerfield. They would be fringe players who want regular senior games. If we look back over the last two seasons players like Miles, Hombsch , Ellis, Horlin-Smith, Collins, Lachie Weller, Harrison Wigg, Aaron Young. It's not a who's who granted, but players will go there if they see it as an option for senior football regularly it seems.
I take your point for sure, but I can't be as dismissive of the idea of players instead of picks.BT COME BACK!

I think we can pretty much say that Dicko, Suckers, Dale and R Smith have close to zero collateral as well so it has to be someone good. But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.Comment
