As a person decorated with a questionable leonine tattoo of my own, I feel infinitely qualified to pass judgement.

Let's just say I understand youthful poor judgement - but even my sympathies only go so far.

That contrast is legitimately astonishing. The bloke on the bottom has been in the system since 2013 but a guy in his second year is already putting him to shame.

My parents knew I was all for it and nothing they were going to say was going to stop me so they just impressed on me that one day I'd be middle aged with a tattoo (like I am now) so whatever I got should mean a lot to me. I got a bulldog on my shoulder and a black flag symbol on my leg and I've never regretted them. In fact I'm still not finished. Next up is a Stooges tattoo on the opposite leg. Then a Dead Kennedys symbol somewhere.
