Re: Essendon
Ooooooohhhhh, sweet Mannah from heaven. Watching Essendon implode (again) gives some slight salve to the wounds of the St. Kilda loss.
How can they keep giving so much for so long.
How does Dodoro keep his job? It is mind boggling. Daniher wanted to go last year, Swans made a very reasonable, in fact, generous offer, but Dodoro and the Bombers FORCED him to stay which achieved what? The loss of 2 first round draft picks. The loss of a years progress for players they could have drafted. A year of a totally disgruntled player being forced to live in 'the hub' (imagine the conversations). 4 senior games for............... ??? In other words NOTHING. It was a disastrously inept and arrogant move.
And they're insisting on pick 7 for Saad??? Man.........no effing way would I give up pick 7 for Saad.
Ooh Mama keep it coming bombers............keep it coming.Comment

Re: Essendon
The taking a stand at the trade table hubris they went with last year, as if they hadn't been shafting everyone else for years, is my favourite part in all of this.
Literally every person with cursory interest in football knew it would come to this, except Esserden and their dickhead supporters (or at least a lot of them).
It's just the best.TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.Comment

Re: Essendon
I love this.
If the compensation comes in as a first-round pick, it is doubtful Essendon would do better in a trade for Daniher than pick eight but they might try. Given they were haggling over two first-round draft picks with Sydney last year, Essendon will probably be unhappy with the idea of pick eight as sufficient compensation.

Re: Essendon
Is Danniher even going to be on big money? I mean he's been injured for some time. Will he command a contract worthy of 1st round compo?Comment
