Yep been the opening game of the season for a number of years now. Could there be something with us and the Pies being the second game of the season very year. Have another premium slot along with Good Friday which is what we are crying out for.

Depends how you define traditional. Tradition relates to many generations.

        Love it.

Hope we can keep playing Pies in R1 every year on the Friday Night and build it.

Yep, first Friday night game + Good Friday each year is a good platform to build on in regards to marquee matches.

Full fixture on AFL website. We play Eagles, Suns, North, Dees & Port twice.

              Two trips to Perth.

One trip to Adelaide, Canberra, Metricon, Geelong (yuk), Tassie.

Two home games vs Lions & Crows at Ballarat.

3 games at MCG vs Pies, Tigers and Dees.

              10 at Docklands.

A tougher fixture I think than last years.

It's a pretty good fixture for us and a top four finish is a strong chance.

The two trips to Perth in four weeks probably could have been more reasonably scheduled, but its not horrible.

I don't think we had excuses this year. Everyone was in the same boat with Hubs. We just weren't good enough.

I wonder if we will be able to attend Victorian away games. Will wait and see. I’m all signed up as a Silver 9 home member for access to the home games + social club.
