Yep i think Newton and Grant were fantastic in the key back positions. I don't think Blackburn is going anywhere.

Ellie was super emotional at the end. Obviously meant a lot to her. She was immense, Wilcox was great and Woodley?s smother in the 4th was a huge moment. As mentioned, Newton and Grant were brilliant too.
        Well done girls.

Yep Wilcox and Woodley are real terriers. Got an impressive group of young players.

The tackles and double tackles in that last quarter was impressive. Showed how much they wanted it.

Love the dash and skill of Wilcox - I can see other clubs trying to steal her.
With the new EB agreement I hope we tied up our young stars like Wilcox early for the 2 year contracts they can now have.

Did Melbourne seriously get a MILLION dollars for straight sets finals exits and brown paper bags for their aflw side?

                That's insane....

AFL is going chips in on their club.

They probably need another blockbuster too

Another big defeat in the last H&A game.

Need a new coach and a re think of the team and game plan.

I think I heard during the commentary Burke has another year.
It was disappointing to go out that way but it was always going to be a tall order.
One of the big improvers of the season has been Georgostathis, she appears to have gone up a level.
Does anyone know what the free was for that resulted in Norths first goal?

Burke probably should step away given how poor the team has performed but he's not necessarily the problem and we just don't have many good players. As Hotdog60 said, he's got another 12 months on his contract.

I know it wasn?t the result we wanted but I thought the effort was there. Roos are a taller, stronger, faster team with more skilful players. Rather the Roos do well in finals than Dees, Lions, Crows.

What a glorious day for footy and for Pride game at WO. Good turnout considering our season.
                              Josie :)

                                Burke has to go.

In comments earlier in the season when it was apparent we weren't going to be anything but ordinary he in my view deflected responsibility a little bit too comfortably.

Didn't rate him as a player as highly as others did, don't as a commentator, and not sure he's the right personality to coach.
