Wow GC and GWS once in Darwin and Manuka. First 5 games on Foxtel.
In Adelaide round 2 vs the Crows. Geelong at Geelong in the 2nd last round. Brisbane at Yo Gabba Gabba in the last round.

Just saw this "The following Thursday night will see the traditional round one clash between Richmond and Carlton"

Handy the way you schedule a game a few years in a row and now it's 'tradition' and must happen every year. Sneaky bastards.

If it (GWS v Syd) is anything like GC's first game this year most footy fans will be changing stations at 1/4 time.... but I guess that's no different to what happens with the traditional opener.

These openers are about as successful as the grand final entertainment. Too much pressure? One side always seems to choke. Richmond fans must have learned to loath them

Does anyone know when they will confirm days & times for the rd 23 games?

It looks like I will be in SE QLD at that time and might try and schedule my flights home around the game... Thinking out loud I assume we will be on the Sunday as neither team will probably be in the finals the following week, but confimation would be helpful.

It looks like I will be in SE QLD at that time and might try and schedule my flights home around the game... Thinking out loud I assume we will be on the Sunday as neither team will probably be in the finals the following week, but confimation would be helpful.

I thought they leave this announcement until as late as possible in the season to help with scheduling the first round of finals games.
I would like to know the timing as soon as possible too, as its the one game per year i can always go to. I just would like to know the day so I make sure I've got no clashes.
