It really doesn't bother me that Bonts didn't win, it's a nothing award and it was to be expected but god i hate how contrived they make these things. There's no doubt in my mind that they sit around and decide what order the votes should be read out to try and generate some excitement which is completely nullified by the fact that the presenters already know the winner and do a terrible job of making it exciting at all.
Just further proof that the afl is sports entertainment more than a sport in my mind
