Way off on the year huh? OK say 20 years then and I will go sub 1955 because they wouldn't have been able to fit 50000 in 1975.

    1934.
1955 really was the year that got away for the Dogs. We had the highest membership in the VFL that year. We conceded less points than any other team in the comp and missed the finals by a miserly 0.6 of a percent...

Had we gotten in, we'd have been fancied for a run at a back to back flag and a dynasty would've beckoned. As it was, we were a rabble within 3-4 years.. (Sigh)

2005? The game where James Clement rushed a behind by kicking it over his shoulder trying to kick it out to himself?

Nice! Played on Johnson who entered the game in doubt. Johnson got the better of him too - a fine effort. Clement was considered one of the best medium sized defenders in the comp.

Too true Webby. Our percentage in 1955 was the best of any year in our history. It was a bizarre year, we were in the 4 with 2 rounds to play, won our last 2 games by a combined 78 points, but Essendon won it's last 2 by a combined 115 to knock us out by a tiny margin.

Makes sense. Both teams with a fairly good season in 1992.

Remember this game. Magic atmosphere that night. Libba was stretchered off after a Sav Rocca knee to the back of the head in a marking contest early. Collingwood player stretchered off? Don't know, don't care. Game was also memorable as Scott West's debut - fair effort to break into a top 4 team Round 1.

Was also the debut game for a magpie Player who later filled the role of senior coach at the bulldogs if I remember correctly.

Ok. Since the 1980s, 3 Bulldogs have managed 50+ games at the club despite generating less than 10 disposals average per game throughout their career. Who are they?

A 90s Pie player who later coached the Dogs? Paul Williams?

Haven't checked to verify but my memory is that Paul Williams debuted in that 1993 game against us.

Pretty sure Paul Williams debuted in 1991 - Round 1 against us at Waverley. Was close all day but they pulverised us in the last qtr and won by 70 odd points.

I'll go Dale Morris and Rick Kennedy as two of them.

Good guesses, but No. Morris averaged 11.9, Kennedy 11.3.
