I can clearly remember getting Stephen Lunn's and Robbert Klomp's autographs in the old Southern Stand at the MCG during a Dogs v Richmond game in '83 or '84. They'd both played reserves or were injured. I wasn't a big autograph hunter, but thought "why not?!"

I'm pretty sure they were the only two footy autographs I've ever collected. The other being former British PM, John Major who I got to sign my game ticket at the 2001 Ashes Test at the Oval..

Lunn, Klomp & Major. My only ever autographs..

Forget about the autographs - if you had Klompie's colour TV you'd be talking big bucks. A rolled gold piece of footy folklore. Never to be forgotten. Same goes for Doug Booth and the dog. Alan Killigrew and Geoff Rosenow. Gary Sidebottom and the bus. Footy folklore - deserves a thread.

Alan Killigrew and Geoff Rosenow? What's the story there merantau?

There are a few folkloric items in the museum at Whitten oval. Irene chatfield's duffle coat for instance.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Was casually browsing AFL tables and found something worth bumping this thread for.

Will Minson holds 18, Yes, eighteen, of the 20 spots for most hitouts in a match for the club.

Who holds the other two spots?

Scott Wynd is too obvious. Luke Darcy.

Not as obvious as you think. Scott Wynd is one of them.

The other probably wouldn't be as obvious as you'd think.

                                Won't be Dempsey then.

                                Bluey Hampshire or Bill Berry.
