ok Axe Man gets a point for proof reading my post for me.

Top 20 for tackles in a match, one player not on a list any more.

For the record, more than half the list is taken up by Tom Libba and Picken.

There are 2 players no longer on an AFL list in the top 20 tackles in a match for us. Perhaps you didn't distinguish Tom and Tony Libba? Tony is on the list 3 times.

Would it be Tony Liberatore?

His best year for tackles was 2009 where he laid 60 over 25 games, or an average of 2.4 tackles.

No to all of the guesses so far.

The player in question managed 15 tackles (equal 2nd of all time) in a game within the last 5 years. They did not play a great number of games for the dogs.

That's him.. Was co-captian for our VFL team early doors.. When he was playing as a tagger he has some big tackle count games.
