I don't have a memo? Is it just for certain groups within the club, ie coterie, sponsorships etc

I think so. I received it as a player sponsor. It really lacks detail though, I’ve had to email to clarify even what type of event it is, eg is it a sit down affair or similar to the South Wharf event a few years back.

Given the room nominated, it could very well be a stand-up option but most likely they are waiting to see how many people are interested

Yes just heard back myself (wont get used to who I'm communicating with..probably ever).

This is the style

"The new format of the cocktail style event is a much more relaxed setting (max of 300 guests) where everyone has the ability to mingle whilst enjoying drinks and canapés."

I suggest youre right re the capacity. They'll ask coterie then whatever is left to other members I assume.

I finally got an answer to my email after sending one last week with no answer and a follow up yesterday.

Today I received this:

Apologies for not getting back to you sooner. We have been flat out with the ever changing AFLW fixture and home games here at VU Whitten Oval.

This year, due to COVID restrictions, the Season Launch will only be a small invite only event. We hope that as the restrictions continue to ease over the year that we’ll be able to make this a larger event again in 2022.
