I was one that thought we could have utilised Sweet a bit more when he was on our list. We always seemed to play pretty well with him in the ruck.

We had a 9W - 2L record with him in the side. It's a little unfortunate we have so many KPF's on the list as I would have liked to have seen English as the 2nd ruck a bit more like when Stef Martin was fit in 2021.

The KPF issue is a nice one to have however.

I just wish our match committee knew what we had that was glaringly obvious 5 years ago, and used Tim accordingly as potentially the best 2nd ruck/forward the game has ever seen. Imagine how devastating he could have been in this difficult to find and highly specialist position if used specifically in this role for the last 5 years - his forward craft would be off the charts better now. Instead we've had a highly skilled, elite running, very tall utility who links up in play beautifully, but simply cannot impose himself physically in the specific role that is his core function when we desperately need him to - hence we regularly make finals but are often made to look foolish in finals when the intensity lifts and absolutely demands players with physical presence.

IMO a player cannot be rated correctly or under-rated when they have an even worse personal record in finals than Gary Rohan - 0 for 7 impactful games in finals is as damning as it gets for Tim.
