What skills do you see Treloar having that Boyd also had?
For me it’s only the fact they’re both high possession winners.Comment

Andrew McDougall can be the answer to our lack of a key forward.
And Pat Veszpremi Is a great pickup who will be an excellent small forward option.
Not exactly hills I died on, but certainly an irrational belief in talent that never came to fruition.Park that car

Different players, but Treloar can win contests, is strong tackling, runs and kicks long. He has plenty of attributes to play modern day half back. I actually think he’d be more effective than Boyd was. Yeah I said it.Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?👍 2Comment

Luke Penny and Cam Wight were the two that came to mind for me. But I'm not sure I died on those hills, I was just disappointed they weren't better.
The worst hill I've ever seen is my brother, a saints fan, who said for 3-4 years that Jack Bytel was going to be a Brownlow medallist. I think he's just been delisted by his second club.👍 1Comment

Paul Dooley was going to be the next boy from the west club legend in the same vein as a Bubba or Johnno.
granted I was too young to be dying on any hills at that point.Time and Tide Waits For No Man👍 1Comment

Tom Williams was a future Captain and AA key defender. I sat next to Tom on a flight from Brisbane to Melbourne during the off-season following his debut year, and I was certain that once he overcame his foot injury, we had the next Chris Grant waiting to tear the game apart. Unfortunately Tom's body was made of tissue paper.👍 3Comment

Nothing wrong with that hill - based on ability, I think you were probably right!Tom Williams was a future Captain and AA key defender. It's probably a good thread...whose career could have been something bigger if they got a clean run at it?👍 1Comment
