I assume Khamis is the one who comes in, but it's good to see Bevo remembers Busslinger exists.
Feels like we're heavy on interceptors and light on guys that defend first. I would've liked Gardiner or Buss.

Is that who Buss is? I would have said he is more of an intercept player in general.

If Buku comes in and not Buss or Gardiner we are very short down back. Lobb plus a bunch of mediums and smalls. Not the worst team to do it against, but still.

Going smaller makes sense with no Miocheck for Collingwood .
More of an In Bruges guy?

Happy with the changes considering the players available. Big challenge for Buku playing as a second tall rather than an interceptor. Really need English to drop back and offer support and for the midfielders to apply pressure on the player kicking into the 50. i remember a Collingwood home game at Marvel where he had a great game. Hopefully Lobby can get through the game and not too sore after last week.

I was worried with Mihocek out, my predicted Coll 54 points was unlikely, but then I saw Cox and De Goey in, and Khamis in.

if Macrae has any nous, he’ll try to get Cox one out with Buku. I would.
I will never see #16 the same!!

Surely Lobb follows Cox in that instance

Worries me how small we are going. I like Buku as a third tall but think we are one key position back short

It's gonna be wet and slippery at the G so I like our set up for this game.

I remind everyone again that we beat McKay and Curnow with Lobb, Buku and Coffield last year lol

I don't think there will be too much of a mismatch between McStay and Lobb and same goes for Membrey and Buku. The big question mark is who goes on Cox and what kind of game he plays... but we have an equally tall but far better forward in Darcy so I feel like that evens the ledger.

I'm not sure it's gonna be wet or slippery. The rain has mostly gone and the G dries quickly. But I agree with your comments on matchups. I don't think having an extra tall will help us anyway.

Isn't it meant to be raining until tomorrow afternoon?

Chance of 1 or 2mm in the morning only so should be dry for the game

Think Gaz has reported that Williams trained back this week. He is 190cm. Not quite JODs height but maybe good enough. Reckon we have a lot of runners so we will see if that helps. Surely Baker and Davidson have more speed to burn and fuel in the tank than sidebottom even if they don't have the smarts and experience that he does. Really looking forward to Ed going head to head with daicos.

Why? Isn't it a well know fact that Collingwood are bloody experienced this year.

Due to injury we have a very young side in with 9 players with less than 50 games
