Tuesday evenings around 8.00pm will be the cut off time to cast your votes after a game....then soon after the results will be up on this thread.

Round - 19 Western Bulldogs again fall short against a finals contender with a loss to Brisbane

    Marmo

    3 – Bailey Dale
    2 – Marcus Bontempelli
    1 – Aaron Naughton

    Comments

Another deflating performance although strong resilience to fightback and almost steal the points. Unfortunately nothing is ever awarded for almost.

WOOFers again struggled with voting with only 34 casting votes.

This week there were 9 players in the votes with a clear cut winner.
Rhylee West (126 of possible 136) stood out with possibly his most productive game at the club. Bailey Dale (78) was a comfortable second from Marcus Bontempelli (60) and Aaron Naughton (39).
The remainder were led by Matt Kennedy (19), Tom Liberatore (12) and Ed Richards (4). Bramble and Cleary each secured a single vote.

    Leaderboard

    26 - Ed Richards
    24 - Tom Liberatore
    18.5 - Marus Bontempelli
    17 – Bailey Dale
    15 - Matt Kennedy
    13 – Sam Darcy
10 - Rory Lobb, Rhylee West

The flat track bullies label was again to the fore destroying the weakest of opposition.

43 WOOFers contributed votes for this game..

This week was the most dominant for 4 individual players I can recall in 10 years of tallying the votes. Marcus Bontempelli (146 of possible 172) narrowly took top spot from the 7 goal man Aaron Naughton (145) with Sam Darcy (90) a clear cut 3rd place ahead of Ed Richards (46).
There were only 3 other players to feature at all with Johannisen, Kennedy and English each securing a single vote.

      27 - Ed Richards
      24 - Tom Liberatore
      22.5 - Marus Bontempelli

The skipper is making his move up the leaderboard.

How many WOOF Awards has he taken home before? Do we have a list of previous winners?
"I'll give him a hug before the first bounce and then I'll run into my pack and give them orders to rip him apart."

I seem to have lost my records for 2017 and 2023
Bont did win in 2016, 2021
Macrae won in 2018 and 2019 with Bont Runner Up
Libba won in 2020 and 2022
          Treloar was last year's winner

              Thanks for that.

I don't know what happened in the intervening years.

I actually think I might have started doing the tallies as early as 2015, but I only have the records from 2016 with the omissions of 2017 and 2023.

                  Thanks
I can accept those results bar 2020 and 2014
I think that 2014 would have been Jack Macrae with the James award for 22 and under
For 2020 I have those records and Libba won from Bont with Bailey Smith 3rd.
Bailey Smith did win the James Award in 2020

AI might help but it does not usurp me when I have the records.

Maybe the answer for 2014 was mixed up with the James Award and in 2020, Smith probably won the James.

Anyway we have the record now which we can amend.

                      Not probably

In 2020 Smith won the James. DEFINITELY
