    Comments

A disappointing conclusion to the season undone by a failure to convert early opportunities and compounded by a sub standard effort in the second quarter.

31 WOOFers only contributed votes for this game evidencing the clear disappointment from the fans.

It was again clear for Marcus Bontempelli (115 of possible 124) from Rhylee West (76) and close tussle to Joel Freijah (36) from Oscar Baker (35) for 3rd position.

The remainder were headed by Tim English (20) from Bailey Dale (13), Tom Liberatore (10) ), Luke Cleary (4) and Jordan Croft with a single vote.

    Leaderboard

        Thanks Michael

In Bont's second game back (Rd 7) he tied for 4th with Tim English just in front of Libba.

Got him over the line at the end.

It's unreal from Bont. He only missed the AFLCA award by about 20 votes despite the games he missed.

I think he will struggle to win our b&f due to the higher number of votes available each game.

Thanks for running the awards again this year Bulldog Joe.

            Thanks Bulldog Joe.
            The Bont..........
Bit flat for Ed, the GOAT stole it.
Did the Woofers miss a bit of West good work?

I do think some of West's work was not as well recognised. However I also feel that Bont (despite winning) is often judged harshly by WOOFers.

Definitely is by me. If someone was close to him, I always push the other player above.

I think West had hot moments in games but most of the time he was quiet. There were a number of games where he was goalless until late in the last quarter when the game was over. His defensive stuff is ok but not match winning for votes

Thanks BJ for running this, it’s a big commitment.

Well done to Bont. How bloody lucky are we to have this guy captain our club?

Ed unlucky, but sure he’ll be up to his eyeballs in the clubs awards night.
Have you heard Butters wants to come to the Dogs?
