Nothing has changed , stop in the third and let some player who couldn’t get a kick in games kick 5 Hipwood this week kemp against Carlton.
We are an awesome team for bringing average players into form, problem is they are tie opposition plsyers .

We're good enough to be competitive but probably not good enough to put together win after win. The signs are good but still very disappointing to finish like that. Another that got away. Got to man up and get a W next week.

The five day break from WA didn't help either
We need to train for composure, and how to sustain it.

We really can't play slow can we.

We tried a couple of times and stuffed it.

It’s honestly difficult to get read on the side at the moment. We are down great soldiers but the second tier guys are playing out of their skins. We just need to sneak a few wins until the troops land. Then let’s assess.

I know it’s glass half full but I’m pleased with about 85% of the game time this year so far

              BB.

Looking forward - Naughton, Darcy and JUH. It will be the envy of everyone.

Yep, we go up the gears quickly but can't manage friction point at the lights up a hill. Seems we're wired for a caffeine and adrenaline game, wild stuff. Need to condition them for small rewards, poise, tempo, decision making, execution. Need to play smarter.

Libba fatigued too. Too much reliance on him with the others out.

16 touches first half. 9 touches second half.

He created so much for us in that first half.

Do the Lions win that game if Neale doesn’t play?

I don’t think so. So hard to cover to AA mids out including the best player in the comp.

Can't stand the potting of Hynes. First gamer, hot game in temperature and intensity, playing against one of the more organised and experienced backlines in the comp.

That was about experience, and he will be better for it.

Probably the same crew who have been riding Sanders for the last 12 months - another 22 and 1 game from him tonight, with some great moments of composure. Almost like young players need time at the level to adjust....

Yeah the potting of Hynes is shithouse - playing the hardest role to play in the game.

Didn't get involved enough, sure, though directly contributed to two goals with his two clean touches. Our first bit of end to end with a brave kick inwards, and a releasing handball out of congestion.
                        TF is this?.........Obviously you're not a golfer.

I don't buy into that. We started with the same amount of players and were good enough to get a 38 point lead. It's important to not focus on what we're missing but how we lost that lead and the game. I'm kind of happy we're competitive but bitterly disappointed about dropping the game. It's a weird time right now.

Hynes will be fine but he wasn't ready.

Hope next week we just play JOD as a defender. Settle him in his best position, if we want to plug holes I'd rather Buku as the third tall or just go smaller.

JOD has competed well but we need him back. Jones is struggling.

Swans had a hard tag and he only had 10 touches.

Hard tags work really well but Bevo doesn’t have that in his vocabulary
