They will be hungry, we will need to match the intensity, i will expect them to come out agressive. Don't worry about them, focus on us and play our style.

Oh I’m nervous! It is a must win match, just a “ good effort” can’t happen if we’re serious
Dogs by 4 goals.
Bont breathing fire flyer last years abnormally quiet showing, BOG.

Yeah I’m nervous about this one, really nervous. I think we should win and we’re the better team but Hawks just seem to be our kryptonite at the moment, plus they’ll be super hot after being blasted for their efforts and we’re coming off the bye which can lead to slow starts. No excuses though we need to win (as do they…)
Basically if we lose this I’m ruling us out of top 4. I dont believe there’s any real concern to call us flat track bullies, if you look at all our losses in isolation I think they’re fair considering our outs early in the year, our travel schedule etc - it’s been a great effort to even get close in some of those games.
But at the end of the day they’ve still been losses and I don’t think you’ll make top 4 starting with a 1-6 ledger against top 8 teams. With our easier second half of the year even if we lose all hopes not over, we’ll cruise into finals where as we know we’re as good as shot as any to do the unthinkable again. But realistically it’ll be tricky and for all our good work and the obvious changes at the club, we’d be back in the pack like we have in the previous few years (even if a bit was out of our control this year)
So we just need to win to keep our top 4 hopes alive, just have to get it done. Nervous but excited for this one👍 3Comment

westy to open proceedings
bont to finish the horrible hawks off
Will be interesting to see if Hawthorn turn up in droves or revert back to previous decades when they stayed away when things weren't going there way.Comment

I decided after the pies game (which I found to be a horrible experience due to the noise, opposition idiots near me, size of the crowd, we lost, getting there and back...) that I wouldn't bother going to any more. It's only lasted a couple of months, but I'm back for more pain.
Should be a close game. We need to prove we can win close games. Let's go!
