I really don't see how we would be better off with an admittedly out of form Naughton out of the team. I still think he's contributing even if the marks and goals columns are a little lean. I'm hoping this rumour is bogus.

If his name wasn't Naughton he would have been dropped a while ago I think (does have obvious credits in the bank). Could barely watch him last week he was that fumbly. Not sure who would come in for him if it is true, guessing Buku gets a run at it and another small comes in.

It seems unlikely but he is only one top tier player. We were pretty good without Bont, Treloar, Weightman, etc at the start of the season. Others will step up. He is a shadow of his former self, he might just need a rest. I have no intel on it but we've seen Bevo make big calls before and there might be more to his poor form than we're aware of.

Buku played at least 50% game time so wouldn't be surprised if Bevo plays him as sub again.
