In an article in this morning's Sun, 'regarding two Fremantle spies being asked to leave training, there was mention that "Jordan Croft came from the ground in the hands of trainers, clutching at his right shoulder and wincing in pain." Is there any update on his injury ?

ps: Note to Fremantle. At the risk of sounding like a Hilux ad, never send a ruckman to do a rover's job.

Croft returned to the ground about 10 minutes later with some strapping. They did some of those contact tests and he seemed okay.
Finished off with some goal kicking drills.
Did they say who tackled him?

Nope this is a full on final. I've almost confused myself thinking this week is finals footy only to realise essendon were apparently playing last night.

At least we can be content we'll get our just deserts win or lose.

Being a final doesn't preclude Essendon from playing.
It precludes them from winning.

Essendon will also play next week. Imagine if Port win against the Suns tonight and we lose then have to watch that hoping for an Essendon win to get us into the finals.

Agreed. Those near losses to top 8 sides don't feel like 'noble losses' at the pointy end with finals at stake. It does feel off to make it with a draw but 2 points is 2 points.
If we lose or draw to a team that sends a hulking well known 2 metre ruck to spy on our training session, well, ya know... audacious or stupid?

Always thought it was the after dinner treat as that's the way it's pronounced but in fact it is spelled like the big sandy things!
