Butters at Bont's wedding and some instagram stuff of them at the same NBA game huh?
Interesting amount of time he seems to be spending with our players at the moment..."Its always good to win the Ashes test match'' - Libba, AFL Grand Final, 2016Comment

For the people saying Butters was at the wedding is the only source that one dude on BF that talks absolute nonsense and acts like he’s got all the inside goss?
Pretty telling if he was there, I mean there would be plenty of dogs players that weren’t. I’m yet to see any proof though and you’d think someone would be all over it.Comment

Our performances went down the tube 2017-2020 and 2022 to now and he's still interested.
It's glass half full isn't it? We've played in two GF in 9 years. Has to be some level of confidence in Bevo's ability to get us to another one.But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.👍 1Comment

ZAK BUTTERS
PORT ADELAIDE
Former assistant coach Chad Cornes’ assessment last week that he believed Butters was heading home became another piece of compelling evidence that the brilliant matchwinner is likely heading home.
The Dogs still believe they are close to the front of the pack along with Geelong but the more interesting question is what it would take to secure the free agent in a trade given the Power would instantly match any free agency offer.
Sydney and Hawthorn both offered up three first-rounders in deals this year but the Suns offer for Christian Petracca was more instructive.
It involved two top 10 picks this year and pick 37 as well as a 2026 first-rounder even as the Suns secured a pair of mid-20s picks and a 2026 second-rounder from the Demons.
The point is that clubs can offer as many late first-rounders as they want but it is top 10 picks that really move the needle.
The Dogs and Cats will have to find a way to secure top 10 picks to get a deal done.
Right now the Demons and Blues are the only clubs with multiple 2026 first-rounders and the Blues will need them for Cody Walker.
Would the Dogs try to trade their 2025 first-rounder into next year to stock up for Butters?

I mean more that if we don’t have results & potential finals to focus on, the Butters stuff will become all consuming.Park that car

God these media numpties talk absolute shit.
They just have no ****ing idea how it works, either that or they don’t care. Those situations with contracted players are completely different.
Butters nominates us, we get him for what we can offer - ie 3x first round picks (should they match). Theres no going to the blues or Demons because they have more. It’s really that simple👍 1Comment
