It's probably my favourite Bulldog moment of play ever.
Being there and watching that moment is one of my favourite greatest Bulldog moments.

That Grand Final goal would be the moment if a guy in the cheer squad didn’t reach out and nudge it with a broom handle.

Still waiting for an explanation as to how a player who isn’t in the field of play can touch a live ball.

Yeah same here. That final play where Stringer squares it to Dickson is the moment I knew we had it. Never forget that feeling. The elation of this win was somehow greater than that of winning the premiership.

The entire 2016 finals series was remarkable, unforgettable. First, the EF and having to travel to WA after losing our game against Freo over there, and the Eagles being on a roll after some good wins. Our surprise win was a shock to many, but surely we would meet our match against the reigning premiers? We put an end to the Hawks era and once again we travelled, this time to Sydney. The PF was the greatest game I’ve ever seen us play. I never get tired of watching it and remember most of it by heart. The Premiership was a fitting end to this amazing series.

JJ was an integral part of our journey and thoroughly earned all the praise now coming his way. I’ll miss him but I’m sure he and his lovely family will remain close to supporters’ hearts.

Not many of us will ever forget late in the last quarter of the PF, scores are tight and everyone is waiting to see which side breaks 1st , then JJ picks the ball up on our half back line takes off and runs 20 meters or so and delivers the ball to Bont who picks it up and runs into an open goal , that bit of play will stay with me forever , and it was typical of JJ's pace and style , as they say thank you for the memories .
