I see the media is reporting Buku is looking around .
what’s our thoughts ?
I like him and think he is a good swing man , has his flaws when the ball hits the ground but is probably someone of value if he decides to go .
Could he be part of deals to get other players ?Bring back the biffComment

Apparently Treloar's management has had no communication with Power on a new contract.
Are we waiting to see how he pulls up after the latest soft tissue ?FFC: Established 1883

I would think so , he is at an age no one else will take him, so don’t rush it, see how he goes and get all our ducks in a row and see what’s left .Bring back the biff👍 1Comment

Dale extends to 2029
The star defender has put pen to paper on a two-year extension.
Western Bulldogs defender Bailey Dale has put pen to paper on a two-year extension, keeping him at the Kennel until at least the end of 2029.
The 29-year-old has had another stellar campaign for the Dogs, averaging 27 touches and over 500 metres gained per game this season.
Dale’s current contract wasn’t set to expire until 2027, but he had no hesitation in pledging his future to the red, white and blue.
“I just love this Club. They took me in when I was an 18-year-old kid, and there’s so much growth left in this place,” the 2021 All Australian defender said.
“I feel like I can give so much more to this Club so I’m really excited to sign on for a couple more years and extend out to 2029.
“There’s a lot more stability with Bevo signing on, and even Ed and Bont and all these guys as well. There is some really exciting times ahead and I want to be part of that.
“I love the Club and can’t wait to be here for another four years.”
Executive Manager – Men’s Football Sam Power said it was pleasing to secure Dale’s services.
“Bailey has been such a consistent performer within our setup for a long period of time and we couldn’t be happier to have him in red, white and blue until 2029,” Power said.
“Having already been an All Australian, Bailey’s ability to find the football and use his elite kicking skills propels our team from the back half, while his ability to support his teammates in the air and on the ground has gone to another level in 2026.
“As a popular member of the locker room, Bailey was named in our leadership group for the first time in 2025, helping our younger players improve and driving the standards on and off the field.
“Extending his contract beyond the current two-year deal in place is a great show of faith from him around the direction of our Club as we continue to strive for sustained success.”
Dale was drafted with Pick 45 in 2015 and has played 177 games since. He was also recognised in the 44-player All Australian squad last season.
He joins Tom Liberatore and Marcus Bontempelli in re-signing in recent weeks.

Not sure why it would needed to have been? He signed a 5 year deal in 2022 coming off an All Australian berth, doubt he was being underpaid. The HUN list had him at $650-$750K.Comment

It's goodwill and frankly good business by the club to reward a critically important player still very much in his prime.
