Swans are the real deal. I’m pretty concerned after what they’ve shown since the bye.

They aren't at the same level as us... we come with the right mindset, and a little fresher in the legs and we win this one with a bit left in the tank.

They are quick and traditionally front runners. If you hold them early and play tough, tight, contested football players like Cameron, Hipwood really struggle.

Will be interesting to see if that has changed in 2021

They should have been in the GF in 2019 - lost by 3 points to GWS who should not have had Greene playing (should have been suspended).
Given our injuries and question marks in defence I'm surprised they're not GF favourites. I rate them higher than Melbourne.

This week and the previous 2 have tipped the balance. A victim of circumstance this week with the 5 day break and covid travel considerations with other matches. We should have some more Friday and Saturday games coming up hopefully.

We’re getting essendon at the right time. I understand the concern though as they have looked good at times this year no doubt. But round 21 is a great time to get them. Tired, finals gone and more to gain by losing.

Not sure on that. If they have a good July they will be right in contention for finals.

Based on a quick ladder predictor, I have us needing 5 more wins to get us a top 4 spot. Obviously a lot can play out in 7 more games but if we get 5 out of 7 we should guarantee top 4. There is going to be a clear top 5 and then a clear 6-8 if things go to current form.

That, and Melb at the G are my 2 dogs losses.

Brisbane have a fairly easy run home so are the danger for our top spot.

What WE don’t want, is to see us slip up against sides we start favourites against.

I would hate to play the cats or lions at home for a final - so a top 2 spot I think is really important for obvious reasons.

Having said that - I’d be furious if the AFL gifted the cats a home final against us at a ground that only holds c.35k

Ideally we would finish top and play Port. That’s our best shot for first week.
