I've been a Beveridge critic but credit where its due. Moving Duyrea on Cameron was a masterstroke that literally saved the game at the end there.

On paper those ins are stronger.

We lost to them only a couple of weeks back, yes they dominated on ground and not on the scoreboard, but gee we had a lot of our big name players down.

No reason why we can't and shouldn't get it done.

Agreed. Schache (JJ or VDM) & Gardner (Cordy) are new from R23. Make us better. Do they have any ins from R23?.

After the Baz goal. We get the centre clearance. Hannan and VDM run into each other. The ball spills. They go up the middle. Caleb overcommits in the marking contests. They get the quick handball and then both Doc and Williams look like they were going to mark it and the spoil each other and take each other out. Ball spills. Zac Bailey with great composure to kick the goal. All happened in a heart beat.

I think they have Fantasia as an in who replaced Geogiades. Personally I hope they don't bring Georgiades back and leave Marshall in.

I can live with Fantasia. Wood or Williams has him covered. Two KPFs allows us to go with Gards and Keath. Young or Schache to cover Ladhams as needed.

Things feel pretty solid as long as Bonts & Cody are ripe to play.

All good mate, emotions running high and lets face it Bont injured = emotions running high on overdrive!

You know what though, I'm quietly confident with or without Bont this saturday night.

I can see any number of scenarios playing out. Port aren’t exactly known for their ability to withstand pressure and a prelim is going to be high pressure. If we bring the juice again I’m confident. But Port in front of a home crowd is not going to be easy. We’ll need 22 contributors.

Lions gave away something like 7 high free kicks, we gave away 1. We clearly tackle and pressure in such a way as to not give free kicks and that's why we are top of the free kick differential ladder. We don't get more frees than other clubs, we just away a lot less than everyone else and that's supposedly a bad thing?
